“Post punk -deconstruct and reconstruct music” is the name of a new blog focusing on the post punk international music scene.

I find it difficult to find information about my favourite music scene, and a scene i consider myself a part of, so i’ve set up the blog to share the information i find. I cover the post punk scene from its origins right through to the present days.

“Another nice mess” is a weekly radio show hosted by DJ Marcelle Van Hoof, from Amsterdam.

She plays a lot of post-punk stuff like ESG, The Slits, The Fall, and she has just played my track “Manager” tonight. Go check out her show as it’s absolutely fabulous.

The chorus  for “Closer to you” was written in 3 minutes and the verses were written over 2 years! What a battle it has been…

So let me know if you think i have finally nailed the verse - or if i have to spend a further 2 years on it…

I’ve uploaded a new track, called “the whole way”. It is inspired by Al Gore’s “the inconvenient truth” docu-film and depicts a future in which giant mosquitoes have taken over the human race. There is also a political accusation regarding a certain world leader in it…

As you’d expect from this subject matter, it’s a rather dark and gloomy track, with layered synths to create the mood.
